Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support in daily living activities for individuals in need of assistance. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals.
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with disabilities or special needs by offering direct support tailored to their unique requirements.
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure a safe living environment.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organization to maintain a comfortable home setting.
- Accompany individuals to appointments or community events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with a disability or aging
- Knowledge of first aid practices is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with family members or healthcare teams when necessary.
- A genuine passion for assisting others and enhancing their quality of life is crucial for success in this role.
