What You'll Do
As a Carpenter / Handyman, you'll work directly with homeowners to complete a variety of residential projects, including:
- Residential repairs, maintenance, and carpentry work
- Interior and exterior trim installation and repairs
- Door, window, flooring, tile, deck, and siding installation
- Drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and gutter maintenance
- Screen porch repairs and outdoor structure improvements
- Troubleshooting and solving residential maintenance issues
- Communicating professionally with homeowners and team members
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and exceeds customer expectations
- Managing your time effectively while working independently
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience
- Strong carpentry and general handyman skills
- Experience with residential repair, remodeling, and renovation projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Own basic hand and power tools
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and climb
- Safely work from ladders and elevated surfaces
- Perform physical labor throughout the workday
