Job Summary:
HIS Paint is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with prior paint industry experience. This role combines inside sales, customer service, paint tinting, order fulfillment, and operational management. You will play a key role in supporting customers, ensuring accurate orders, and contributing to store sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with paint selection, color matching, and coating recommendations
- Tint and mix paint accurately according to specifications
- Process point-of-sale transactions and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare and verify orders for accuracy before delivery
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Support inventory management and merchandising standards
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet deadlines
- Prepare bank transaction's
- Lead a team of 2 to 4 employees
Qualifications:
- Prior inside sales or retail paint experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (5-gallon paint containers)
- Ability to operate a hand truck and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of paint and sundry products
- Willingness to travel locally (up to 25%)
- Knowledge of paint and sundry products
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Full-time
Day shift (may include alternating Saturdays)
