POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Director at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is responsible for leading performance improvement efforts and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant patient care.
In this role, the Quality Director reviews clinical outcomes, conducts audits, and analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement. They develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards, and support regulatory survey readiness and response.
The Quality Director works closely with leadership and clinical teams to strengthen patient safety, reduce risk, and promote evidence-based best practices. They also provide staff education on quality standards and ensure accurate, timely documentation across departments.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and quality improvement processes.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Current clinical licensure in State of practice.
License: State of Practice.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical setting in the healthcare and/or medical industry is required. Previous experience in quality or performance improvement activities is preferred. If below experience standards, they must be enrolled in ongoing coursework in performance improvement and CQI methodology.
