Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the developmental needs of children across various age groups. This role involves designing engaging curriculum, managing classrooms effectively, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the academic and social success of students. Experience in early childhood education, special education, and classroom management is highly valued. The Teacher will play a vital role in inspiring a love for learning and supporting child welfare through innovative teaching methods and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to diverse student needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and special education strategies
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and critical thinking
- Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and foster positive social interactions among students
- Support early intervention programs and provide individualized instruction for children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support student development and address individual challenges
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, childcare, preschool education, and teaching methodologies
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques and child welfare practices
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles
- Previous classroom experience in daycare, private school settings, or early childhood programs is preferred

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
