Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:
- Input bills and schedule payments according to terms
- Create, send, and ensure timely payment for customer invoices
- Invoice work completed
- Reconciliations
- Payroll
- Work with CPAs to submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly taxes
- Compile reports/summaries of financial activity
- Ensure confidentiality of corporate and financial information
General Office Operations:
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Filing
- Ordering supplies
- Collect, maintain, and file employee documentation for onboarding and ongoing employment
- Collaborate with Quality Supervisor and Floor Supervisor to schedule daily and weekly tasks and communicate expected completion times to customers
- Maintain an organized office environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma
Associates in business or accounting (preferred)
1-3 years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Outlook
Valid Michigan drivers’ license
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles & procedures
Ability to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy
Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to manage multiple assignments
Great interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
