Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product questions, and provide product demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the cash register accurately, handle retail sales transactions, and manage cash drawer with precision
- Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support visual merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-organized
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Conduct product knowledge sharing and upselling techniques to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all retail math, cash handling procedures, and cashiering responsibilities are performed efficiently and accurately
Skills
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations with strong cash handling skills
- Prior supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
- Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising standards, and stock management practices
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
- Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and conducting product demos to engage customers effectively
