Conveyor Service Company is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout Florida and on select out-of-state projects.
Already an experienced technician? Your starting rate is not limited to $18–$20/hour. Candidates with strong conveyor, industrial maintenance, electrical, PLC/VFD, mechanical, fabrication, or field-service experience may qualify for higher starting pay based on demonstrated experience and technical ability.
New to conveyors? That's okay too. We provide paid on-the-job training and welcome candidates from automotive, diesel, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing maintenance, fabrication, millwright, HVAC/R, equipment repair, and other hands-on skilled trades.

Pay & Benefits
· Developing technicians generally start around $18–$20+ per hour.
· Higher starting rates available for experienced technicians.
· Overtime paid at 1.5×.
· Service technicians commonly have approximately 15+ overtime hours available per week, depending on workload and customer demand. Overtime is not guaranteed and may vary.
· Example: At $20/hour, a 40-hour week plus 15 overtime hours would equal approximately $1,250 gross for that week before taxes and deductions. Actual earnings depend on rate and hours worked.

What You'll Do
· Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and related industrial equipment.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
· Repair and replace belts, rollers, pulleys, bearings, motors, gearboxes, sensors, switches, and other conveyor components.
· Perform belt tracking, tensioning, repairs, and replacement.
· Troubleshoot electrical components using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
· Work with motors, sensors, VFDs, control panels, and PLC-controlled equipment as applicable.
· Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
· Perform basic welding and fabrication when required and properly trained.
· Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and industrial equipment.
· Follow Company and customer safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures.
· Complete service reports, work orders, inspections, and other job documentation accurately.
· Communicate professionally with customers and other technicians.
· Maintain Company tools, equipment, and vehicles.

What We're Looking For
Experience with conveyors, industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, or industrial maintenance is a plus and may qualify you for a higher starting rate.
· Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
· Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
· Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
· Able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
· Able to complete service documentation accurately.
· Able to work independently after appropriate training.
· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
· Willing and able to travel to customer facilities.
· Able to meet applicable customer-site access requirements, which may include background screening.

Travel & Schedule
This is a Florida-based field-service position. Most work is performed at customer locations throughout Florida, with occasional out-of-state projects.
Technicians must be willing to travel and may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, overnight assignments, or emergency service calls depending on customer needs.
For qualifying out-of-town assignments, lodging is paid by the Company and per diem is provided for meals and incidental expenses.
Service technicians frequently have substantial overtime opportunities. Project work generally follows a more structured schedule. Actual schedules and overtime vary based on customer demand and assignments.
Physical & Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on industrial position. Work may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, using ladders or lifts, working around industrial machinery, and handling tools, parts, and equipment.
Technicians work in a variety of industrial environments that may include manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, production facilities, and outdoor work areas.
