We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and confidential manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash and credit card transactions accurately, and balance the register at the end of each shift.
- Stock merchandise, replenish displays, and maintain accurate pricing.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory and notify management of low-stock items.
- Verify customer age and comply with all applicable laws and company policies regarding age-restricted products.
- Answer customer questions with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing shipments.
- Help prevent theft by remaining attentive and following loss prevention procedures.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable discussing adult products in a professional, respectful manner.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer and cash handling skills.
