Executive Housekeeper
Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 25–30 hours per week
Ideal Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with flexibility for other days as needed
Compensation: $30-40 per hour

A busy professional household in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to help maintain their 5,000-square-foot home and provide a high level of care, organization, and support. The home is located in a suburban setting on 1.3 acres, and the household includes four Labrador Retrievers, so candidates must be comfortable working around large dogs.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-sufficient, hardworking, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-run home. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and can anticipate household needs without requiring constant direction.
Responsibilities include:
– Detailed cleaning and upkeep of the entire home
– Deep cleaning and routine maintenance of household spaces
– General tidying, organization, and daily household reset
– Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing/steaming, and wardrobe care
– Assisting with packing and unpacking clothing for business travel
– Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
– Tidying the garage and outdoor pool area
– Running occasional household errands
– Helping prepare other properties for use, including cleaning and setup, on a very infrequent basis
– Working around and being comfortable with four Labrador Retrievers
– Noticing household needs and taking initiative to address them
Qualifications:
– Prior experience as a housekeeper, executive housekeeper, or in a similar private home role
– Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
– Comfortable working independently in a private household
– Positive and easygoing attitude
– Comfortable around dogs, especially large dogs
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– Flexibility to occasionally travel to nearby properties as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
– $30-40 per hour
– Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving
– 5 paid sick/personal days
– 5 paid vacation days
– Major holidays paid when they fall on a normally scheduled workday
