**Job Title:** Registered Vascular Sonographer

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our IAC accredited Vein Center and Vascular laboratory team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in vascular ultrasound imaging with experience and interest in the venous system (insufficiency, DVT and iliac vein imaging) and possess a strong understanding of vascular anatomy and physiology and enjoy working in an inclusive TEAM environment.
**Responsibilities: **
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to evaluate out-patients for venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis, post ablation ultrasound examinations and iliac venous duplex.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality images.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to provide accurate diagnostic information to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals assist in coordination of patient care and ensure accurate diagnosis for proper treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment.
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and advancements in vascular ultrasound technology and participate in ongoing education and training within the field of phlebology and venous diagnostic testing.
**Requirements:**
- Current registration as a Vascular Sonographer (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through a recognized credentialing organization.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of venous ultrasound examinations, including upper and lower extremity DVT assessments, lower extremity deep and superficial venous insufficiency examinations, post ablation ultrasound evaluations and ilio-caval venous imaging for May Thurner lesions, DVT and pelvic venous disease. Must possess a strong working knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
