Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Light Maintenance Tech / Porter to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as window washing, floor buffing, and surface cleaning using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities across various areas to ensure a tidy environment at all times.
- Support light maintenance activities like changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and painting touch-ups to maintain facility integrity.
- Support industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, and outdoor spaces to promote safety and professionalism.
- Assist with porter duties such as moving furniture or supplies and ensuring pathways are clear of obstructions.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or residential environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs confidently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.

- Reliable transportation and attendance
