Pay Rate: $1700 To $1900/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift & Night shift | 12-Hour Shifts
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role provides advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients in critical care and acute care settings, including the PICU, NICU, Emergency Department, and general pediatric units. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric critical care expertise and flexibility to float between units as needed.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, ED, and inpatient units.
Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, airway care, and advanced therapeutic interventions.
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR while following hospital and regulatory standards.
Float between assigned units as needed while ensuring safe, high-quality respiratory care.
Requirements
Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required.
Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience with extensive PICU, NICU, and ED experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.
Must be available for 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, floating assignments, and comply with the mandatory flu vaccination policy.
