Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow with a fast-moving company? Detritus is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Savannah team. You'll manage provider cards, process invoices, and keep our payments running smoothly — with real ownership of the AP function in a company that's scaling nationally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare, load, and record credit cards.
- Maintain accurate general ledger journal entries.
- Manage the Accounts Payable Dashboard on Salesforce, including accounting reports.
- Process accounts payable invoices and make provider payments promptly.
- Prepare sales and use tax returns.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable team as needed.
- Other accounting duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred — relevant experience may substitute.
- 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably with rental invoicing.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
