Requirements:
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license required (Pending OR license accepted if application is submitted shortly after offer)
- Willingness to be trained in additional respiratory care areas
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred

Description of job:
SnapCare is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Respiratory Therapist to support the inpatient respiratory therapy department at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). This department provides a full spectrum of respiratory care services within an acute hospital setting.
This role is ideal for both experienced travelers and first‑time travelers. Candidates must be flexible, team‑oriented, and willing to expand their skill set by cross‑training in additional respiratory care areas. The position requires strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to provide high‑quality care during night shifts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current BLS certification
- Active RRT credential required
- Active Oregon license (or pending with timely application)
- Experience in acute care hospital respiratory therapy preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
- Strong communication, adaptability, and clinical decision‑making skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions across inpatient units
- Perform patient assessments and monitor respiratory status
- Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and respiratory medications
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond to changes in patient condition and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document treatments and patient outcomes accurately in the EMR
- Participate in cross‑training and support multiple respiratory care areas

- Up to 5 days requested time off allowed within contract
