We are currently looking for a 1st Shift - Welder 2 for our Bloomington, Minnesota facility. This position is five days per week: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)

Position Overview:
Production welder capable of completing welds on a consistent basis over a range of volume of parts. Capable of Tig, Mig, and Spot (Resistance) welding.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Tig welding stainless, aluminum, and steel. Includes welding thin-walled stainless tubing with Argon backing.
- Ability to handle production welding . May be working on the same job for 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
- Ability to Mig weld if job requires it.
- Setup of welding fixtures to produce consistent parts according to customers blueprints.
- Troubleshoot when fixtures need adjustments due to material tolerances.
- Spot welding experience a plus.
- Able to read a blueprint to define callouts and tolerances.
- Basic computer skills, entering data for jobs for inspection and efficiency metrics.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Some experience using hand tools.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and over.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job with or without accommodation.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and / or peers both in both written and verbal formats.
- Must be able to use a computer.
- Most be able to stand and / or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to adjust to varying climates (hot / cold)
