We are looking for a junk removal specialist in the Austin area. CDL is not required. We are a small, growing business based out of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks related to junk removal
- Transport roll-off containers to job sites and waste facilities.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Meet schedules
- Document and log work sites and retain fuel receipts
- Input drop and pickup locations for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a can-do attitude throughout day
- Enjoy field work with unique daily challenges, both physical and mental
- Treat everybody with whom you interact with kindness and respect, including clients, neighbors, partners, waste management facilities workers and the general public.
- Educate clients on services, pricing and environmental impact
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company dress policy
- Prevent property damage by working as a team to carefully move items to the truck; and safely maneuvering the truck at all times
- Follow company policy for use of personal protective equipment
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid drivers license with no at fault accidents within the past 3 years;
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift at least 60 (lbs)
- Must be drug and alcohol free and able to pass a criminal background check
- Punctual, honest and good work ethics are a must
