Job Overview
Join our dynamic distribution center team as a Seasonal Associate, supporting the efficient movement and management of products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a dedicated evening shift, from Monday through Friday, with hours from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will contribute to order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse productivity. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure timely delivery of products to our customers while gaining valuable experience in warehouse management and heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as order picker, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy.
- Load and unload shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents and maintaining quality control standards.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks, including labeling, documentation, and tracking of goods.
- Assist with order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely picking, packing, and dispatching of products.
- Support warehouse safety protocols by performing mechanical checks on equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating order picker, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory stocking.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or adjustments.
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining proper safety techniques.
- Experience with warehouse supervision or team coordination is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control checks and accurate order fulfillment.
