Job Description:
The FLASH Family of Companies is seeking a Wisconsin-based crew to support operations at our Texas Frac plant in Saint Jo (north TX; approx. 80 miles NW of DFW). Team members will travel via private charter aircraft from Oshkosh, WI to Texas and work a rotating schedule of two weeks on / two weeks off, averaging approximately 80 hours per week while on-site.
All travel, lodging, and accommodations are provided by the company. This position is ideal for dependable, hard-working individuals who are comfortable with travel and extended work rotations in an industrial/mining environment.
Individual is responsible for safely maintaining wet and dry plant as well as all mine equipment. Must have ability to visually inspect, maintain, and fix equipment as necessary and at scheduled intervals. Will also be required to start up and shut down equipment. Successful candidate will be expected to understand the overall sand mining process.

- Preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment
- Utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify and correct equipment failures
- Safe operation of several types of mobile equipment
- Assist with the wash and dry plant operations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years maintenance experience
- Electrical knowledge
- Equipment operation skills
- Conveyor and bucket elevator knowledge
- Experienced welder/fabricator
- Analytical skills
- Ability to be cross-trained to assume other responsibilities
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Pass toxicity test
- Medical clearance to wear respiratory protection
- Willingness to further training or education, if requested
- Able and willing to work extended work schedules, overtime, weekends, and call-ins, if necessary
- Team-oriented, effective communicator (verbal and written), able to offer technical expertise and guidance, and have the ability and willingness to build rapport with department team members and external agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities appropriately
- Standard current computer applications knowledge, including word processing and spreadsheets
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, walking, sitting, squatting, talking, hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and fingers movements, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed and engage in strenuous physical activity
