Revive Detox & Recovery is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our small, highly supportive residential detox and recovery team in Los Angeles.
This role is ideal for an EMT seeking a calmer environment than transport/crisis work or someone passionate about addiction recovery and mental health.
We are a boutique detox and residential treatment setting focused on whole-person care, trauma-informed support, and helping clients stabilize safely while beginning long-term recovery.
Position Type
- Part-Time
- Primarily mornings, weekdays and/or weekends as needed
- Opportunity for consistent recurring shifts for the right fit
Responsibilities
- Medication observation and medication support
- Vitals and wellness monitoring
- Detox support (CIWA/COWS familiarity a plus)
- Client safety and wellness checks
- Documentation/charting
- Coordination with clinical and medical staff
- Supportive client interaction in a recovery-focused setting
Ideal Candidate
- Current EMT cert in good standing
- Reliable and compassionate
- Comfortable in mental health, detox, behavioral health, or residential settings
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Team-oriented and calm under pressure
- Experience in substance abuse treatment, psych, or detox preferred but not required

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience, availability, and fit.
