A non-profit agency in Owensboro, Ky is seeking a
full-time Licensed Clinical Therapist to join their community-based program. This role provides behavioral health assessments, diagnostics, and clinical treatment for children, adults, and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns. Therapists work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that support insight, growth, and effective personal and interpersonal strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide behavioral health assessments, diagnostics, and clinical treatment
Deliver services to children, adults, and families
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients
Support clients in understanding concerns and building effective coping strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold agency mission and values
Education & Licensure
Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution
Candidates with a current Kentucky professional license (LPCA, LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, etc.)
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage clients effectively and model professionalism
Commitment to cultural humility, teamwork, and the agency’s mission
