Overview
We are seeking someone with experience in vacation rental cleaning to be in charge of our turnover cleans for vacation rental condos. This position covers our units in both Kihei and Lahaina, so you must be willing to drive to the west side when needed. You also MUST be a skilled cleaner and be more than willing to jump in and clean a property if there is a last minute job or if a cleaner is unavailable. This will absolutely happen and is a normal and expected part of the job.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our detailed daily calendar--scheduling cleaners, making changes as needed, and making sure each person is informed on their task for the day
- Inspect and follow up on completed cleans to be sure we are keeping our standards high
- Keep our Kihei and Lahaina storage units stocked with all needed restocking supplies. This can include Costco runs and ordering on Amazon.
- Hire and train new cleaners when needed, and give extra followup to make sure they follow our standards
- Communicate well with property managers and owners about details or issues at their units, schedule changes, and any adjustments that need to be made
Requirements
- Background in housekeeping, preferably in the vacation rental/Airbnb world
- Ability to work independently. You will be managing your own time and must be able to prioritize and handle your time in an efficient way.
- Ability to pivot with last-minute schedule changes. These happen often.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management within hospitality or commercial environments.
- Ability to lead confidently. You will be the go-to person for our cleaners and they must feel supported if they need guidance.
- Familiarity with laundry operations.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
