Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Catheterization Lab
- Assist with the placement of catheters and other medical devices
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support
- Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of patient information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the Catheterization Lab
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of {location}
- Minimum of {number} years of experience in a Catheterization Lab or related setting
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment used in the Catheterization Lab
- Familiarity with procedures such as gastric lavage, dermal fillers, family planning, infant care, toddler care, ostomy care, etc.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athenahealth)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
