Job Summary
Community Angels of Hope, LLC is looking for a mature, dependable, responsible, and compassionate person who is ready to work as a DSP Support + Driver.
This position supports individuals with developmental disabilities through Community Life Engagement (CLE) activities. You will help individuals participate in community activities, build independence, make choices, develop skills, and work toward their individual goals.
This is an active position. We are looking for someone who will engage with the individuals we serve—not simply sit back and supervise them.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Participate in community outings and activities with individuals.
- Encourage independence, choice-making, socialization, and skill development.
- Follow individual goals, preferences, and ISP requirements.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and ensure individual safety.
- Provide transportation when assigned.
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Communicate concerns and incidents to supervisors.
- Follow CAOH policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Work professionally with beneficiaries, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Remain calm and professional when situations or schedules change.

Qualifications
Applicants must have either:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Direct Support Worker (DSW), OR
- High School Diploma
Additional requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Ability to complete required orientation and training
Chauffeur License: A chauffeur license will be required for applicable driving duties, but it is NOT an immediate requirement to apply or be considered for the position.
Schedule & Location
Full-Time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
