Summary:
Full Time Position
Provide service excellence to both internal and external customers and vendors. Position will include Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Customer Invoicing, GL Entries and Month End Closing. Bachelor Degree in Accounting required and a minimum of 5 years of actual experience in the listed job functions. Follow GAAP accounting Principles and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work days: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately record day to day financial transactions.
- Accounts Payable includes: Entering invoices, check runs, resolve discrepancies with vendors and purchasing department, and maintain files.
- Accounts Receivables includes: Daily invoicing, call on past due payments, daily deposits and completing credit checks transactions.
- General Ledger includes: Balance GL accounts weekly and at month end, file quarterly tax reports, review expense accounts and print financials.
- Process WC Claims as needed and assist with employee benefits
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Scuba and/or consumer products experience is a plus
- Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
