We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AM Barber Instructor to join our vibrant beauty education team. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on barbering techniques, including hair cutting, styling, shaving, and grooming procedures
- Supervise students during practical applications such as haircutting, beard trimming, and facial treatments to ensure safety and skill development
- Develop detailed lesson plans that incorporate anatomy knowledge, skincare fundamentals, and aesthetic treatments like facials, eyelash extensions, and body waxing
- Mentor students on professional conduct, client communication, and industry best practices to prepare them for real-world salon environments
- Demonstrate advanced skills in hair coloring, hair extensions, threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and makeup application
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health regulations related to massage therapy, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other esthetic treatments
Experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in barbering, hairstyling, skincare, or cosmetology
- Extensive classroom or training experience with a focus on adult education and student mentoring
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to aesthetic treatments and body therapies such as massage therapy and trigger point therapy
- Hands-on experience with a variety of beauty services including nail care, facial treatments, makeup application, hair coloring, hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser procedures
- Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate technical skills like dermabrasion or facial treatments while fostering a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Certifications or licenses in cosmetology or barbering are highly preferred; additional qualifications in skincare or advanced aesthetic treatments are a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
