Scenic Automotive is growing and adding to our team! We are currently hiring a Detailer / Lot Porter for our busy dealership.
- Wash vehicle exterior with “soft touch’ car wash (wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes with special finish and VIP vehicles)
- Prep vehicle exterior: clean bumpers, grill, lower body panels, rocker panels & fender wells with pressure washer
- Clean brake dust from wheels
- Prepare exterior for hand waxing. Remove any minor foreign over sprays from vehicle exterior with rubbing clay
- Clean door jams, windows – interior & exterior, and interior & exterior mirrors
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine
- Vacuum interior or vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain- resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
- Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer.
- Proactively communicate potential issues with Detail Manager, Service Director, Service Advisors, Sales Manager, other management, and other departments to provide the best possible customer experience and fix it right the first time.
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
- Maintain professional appearance and workspace.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Must have an eye for detail and be proud of doing things right the first time. Must enjoy working with others in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Detailing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
