We are looking for Armed flex guards for the Sacramento area. There are no guaranteed hours for this position. This position is to cover shifts for guards that call out or are on vacation. These locations are cannabis dispensaries, so you must be 21 years of age or older to work at these locations. Prior to being hired you must show proof of age eligibility, a California guard card with a firearm endorsement, 40 hours of guard training certificates (you must be able to provide copies of guard card, firearms card and certificates), and any applicable firearms training and continuing education certificates.
MUST posses a valid CA Guard Card with a firearm endorsement, cell phone and duty gear including holster and firearm.
Interviews will only be conducted after proof of required documents have been provided.

Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems and report any unusual activities or violations.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect company assets.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR or first aid as needed.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Proficient in surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions quickly.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
