Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial offices, hotels, or other facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and stripping floors to ensure a polished appearance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with custodial responsibilities such as replenishing supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly valued
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques for different surfaces including carpets, hardwood floors, tiles, and upholstery
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively
