Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, materials, or equipment to various locations, while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner - 26 foot truck
Transport goods over long and short distances, following predetermined routes and schedules - OTR only Thursday to Friday
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours of service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Follow all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.
Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to the supervisor.
Keep truck clean, fueled, and maintained in good operating condition.
Valid CDL Class A license.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain focused during long shifts.
- Must pass a DOT drug screening and background check
- OTR Thursday - Friday, no weekends
- Monday to Friday job standard working hours
