JOB SUMMARY:
The Group Facilitator will be responsible for leading and facilitating group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health issues. The facilitator will work closely with other mental health professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure that clients receive the best possible care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient program or other mental health setting.
● Familiar with community resources.
● Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
● Knowledge of drug-free workplace policies, workplace violence, and corporate integrity and compliance programs.
● Knowledge of current utilized technology.
● Must have a TB test, and CPR/First Aid certification
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Utilizes knowledge and skills to provide group psychotherapy, meeting the patient’s treatment needs and requirements.
● Documents client progress/regression according to established policies and procedures in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
● Provides pertinent patient information to the clinical team based on evaluation in group session interactions, to assist in the patient treatment process.
● Demonstrates good communication skills.
● Continues with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures.
● Responds positively to changing situations in the work setting.
● Works as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity.
● Performs in a professional manner and role models a positive image of mental health.
● Demonstrates good communication skills.
● Works in a safety-conscious manner which ensures the safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to self or clients in the workplace.
● Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
● Meets with supervisor on a regular basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and or improving services
● Assists in developing aspects of treatment plans and treatment plan updates in collaboration with other treatment team members.
● Has effective time management.
● Updates knowledge of community resources on a continuous basis.
● Reports abuse of patients’ rights immediately.
● Submits necessary documentation/notes in a timely fashion to the EMR system according to company policy.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
