Mechanical Assembly
Our client is seeking candidates for their first shift Mechanical Assembly role in Newington, NH. If you are mechanically inclined and like variety in your workday, then this could be a great fit!
Responsibilities for Mechanical Assembly
- Assemble equipment and products using a variety of hand tools and small power tools
- Follow blueprints, pictorial prints, and/or special instructions to complete work
- Test products and document results
- Maintain equipment and facilities
- Verify BOM and inventory accuracy
- Help sales with equipment and product demonstrations
- Keep equipment and work area clean, safe, and organized
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications for Mechanical Assembly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools and power tools required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Experience with pneumatic systems is a plus
- Good problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn and ask questions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive tasks, and stand throughout shift
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility, plus available overtime. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $18-$23/hour. We look forward to hearing from you about this Mechanical Assembly position!
