Auto Tech Specialists is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic for our professional 19-bay repair facility in Kearny Mesa.
We are looking for a dependable technician who can accurately diagnose vehicles, perform quality repairs, and work efficiently as part of a supportive team. Our shop services European, Japanese, domestic, hybrid, and light-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs
- Diagnose check-engine lights and electrical problems
- Perform factory-scheduled maintenance
- Document inspection findings and recommended repairs
- Communicate clearly with service advisors
- Complete repairs accurately and within established timeframes
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to complete repairs correctly and efficiently
- Knowledge of modern automotive systems and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to provide or maintain appropriate automotive tools
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
Experience working with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Acura, hybrid vehicles, or European automobiles is a strong advantage.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
