Lucky Little Learners is hiring a full-time Curriculum Operations Coordinator to provide immediate operational relief within the curriculum department while building the systems and experience base for a future Curriculum Manager pipeline.
- Position: Curriculum Operations Coordinator
- Employment type: Full-time, W-2 employee (not a contractor)
- Hours split: 20 hrs/week Operations, 20 hrs/week Curriculum Design
- Reports to: Curriculum Manager
- Growth path: Defined path toward a future Curriculum Manager role, contingent on performance and fit
- Location: Remote with majority of hours being 9:00-5:00
- Introductory period: 6 weeks, full pay from day one; benefits eligibility begins after the introductory period
- Compensation: $58,000–$85,000/year, based on experience

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do — Operations (20 hrs/week)
- Maintain and update curriculum project trackers across all product lines
- Organize project timelines and deadlines
- Assist with purchasing clip art for curriculum designers
- Follow up with curriculum designers on outstanding tasks and deadlines
- Manage file organization and naming conventions across curriculum assets
- Track and triage product hotline requests (teacher feedback/bug reports)
- Coordinate the review and revision process between designers and the Curriculum Manager
- Prepare completed projects for the Curriculum Manager’s final review
- Provide a regular (e.g. weekly) status summary to the Curriculum Manager
- Manage other recurring administrative curriculum tasks as they arise
What You’ll Do — Curriculum Design (20 hrs/week)
- Design and create new curriculum resources (units, activities, worksheets, assessments) for K–2
- Ensure new content aligns with LLL’s curriculum philosophy, instructional standards, and “teacher-loved” quality bar
- Conduct first-round quality/instructional review of own and peer work before it reaches the Curriculum Manager
- Support proofreading and final polish on curriculum products before launch
- Contribute to scope-and-sequence planning for assigned grade level(s)
- Collaborate with other curriculum designers on shared or cross-grade projects
- Stay current on Science of Reading research and best practices, incorporating updates into new content
- Provide feedback to assigned curriculum team members
- Use the LLL brand standards & common core academic standards to design curriculum
- Create templates from scratch for all types of curriculum under the direction of the curriculum manager
- Complete the “wrap up process” of a product
- Make edits and fix errors on existing curriculum
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education (or related field) — required
- Prior curriculum design experience — required
- Classroom teaching experience in Kindergarten, 1st, and/or 2nd grade — required
- Formal training in the Science of Reading (e.g., LETRS or equivalent)
- Experience with the operations of a teacher membership and/or company website
- Vast knowledge of CCSS standards and objectives
- Reliable internet is a must
- Willingness to be part of a positive team and learn
- Highly organized, with strong follow-through and project-management instincts
- Comfortable holding timelines accountable, providing & receiving constructive feedback, and spotting bottlenecks
