1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)
Objective:
Coordinates, leads, and supports IS projects related to IS 4.0 applications, as well as associated continuous improvement initiatives particularly those focused on business functions such as engineering, sales, and manufacturing. Applies Safran's best practices and methodologies while ensuring system availability and providing escalation support to Safran Seats USA IS Management.
1. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Main Function Responsibilities
- Project Management & Continuous Improvement Responsibilities:
o Lead, coordinate and /or assist local and corporate teams with projects related to IS applications
o Conduct and participate in validation testing of new solutions
o Contribute to the selection of IS applications based on evolving business needs
o Maintain and update process mappings for workflows linked to IS application
- Team Leadership & Training
o Guide, develop, and train analysts and power users on technical topics and data queries.
o Mentor team members, supporting their skills and knowledge growth.
o Lead the team in implementing code changes and troubleshooting software issues.
- Process, Quality & Documentation Improvement
o Draft comprehensive business requirements and finalize technical specification
o Develop training materials and deliver end-user training sessions as needed
o Define and implement procedures for managing change request
o Review and improve software development standards and documentation practices.
o Write, review, and update system and software documentation.
- Technical Support & Collaboration
o Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, guiding the team through problem resolution.
o Coordinate technical matters with consultants and external support providers.
o Collaborate with users and application specialists to capture requirements, analyze workflows, and investigate problem areas.
o Oversee and coordinate IS support activities related to incident management (ticketing)
o Perform additional related duties as assigned to meet department goals.
