Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district located near Harrisville, RI, to hire a School Psychologist. This contract position is Full-Time, working 5 days per week for the full school year.
In this role, the School Psychologist will primarily work to support students in Elementary grades, approx. 25 students on caseload.
Responsibilities may include:

Evaluating students for eligibility of special education services

Counseling students individually or in groups
-
Writing evaluation reports with multidisciplinary evaluation teams

Consulting with parents and teachers
-
Leading teams through the process of completing Functional Behavior Assessments
-
Supporting the implementation of formal or informal behavior intervention plans
-
Collaborate with the other School Psychologists for the district, meet weekly, and a possibility of attending Student Intervention meetings.
Requirements:

Must have a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology

Rhode Island state School Psychologist license is required
