The Grand at Twin Lakes is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and safety-focused Bus Driver to provide transportation for our wonderful residents. Our driver is more than just someone behind the wheel—they help our residents maintain their independence, attend appointments, participate in community outings, and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to:
- Medical appointments
- Shopping trips
- Recreational outings
- Community events
- Scheduled group excursions
- Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Keep the community bus clean, fueled, and in excellent operating condition.
- Report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and schedules.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.
- Follow all Illinois traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service while treating every resident with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving passenger buses, shuttle buses, or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Experience working with older adults is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs.
- Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to assist residents on and off the bus safely.
- Ability to lift and secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
