LGC Valley, Inc. is seeking an entry-level or experienced Soils Engineer to join our Valencia Office for work on various residential, commercial and related projects. A Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable college is required. An engineer’s license (including GE) with the State of California is a plus.
Skills should include the ability to perform seismic analysis, liquefaction analysis, slope stability analysis, reviewing calculations, assigning laboratory testing, and report writing, among many others.
Fieldwork will be necessary to review site conditions, confirm soil types, review site access for explorations, and to confirm that project recommendations and specifications are being met. General reconnaissance, logging of borings and or test pits, and testing of soils for compaction, among other items, will be necessary for entry-level and may be needed at times for more senior personnel.
You must be smart, organized, and able to work closely with others.
