POS Tester Role & Responsibility:
Work as a POS tester and validate the POS Application enhancement and contribute in the Regression testing.
Collaboration with Product stakeholders to validate complex retail workflows and payment integrations.
Perform integration testing between POS, store systems, Mobile and Web applications.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Ready API, or similar platforms
Validate request/response payloads and API orchestration across multiple backend systems.
Test data flow between POS systems and downstream applications.
Analyze API logs and troubleshoot integration issues.
Create comprehensive test reports and defect documentation
Contribute to automation frameworks and regression test suites.
Utilize collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Wiki for documentation and Test case management.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
To liaise with onshore or offshore teams effectively and plan the work.
Skills:
5+ years of experience in POS testing, retail POS testing experience with Payment knowledge (Must Have).
Strong knowledge of retail POS systems, payment ecosystems, backend API orchestration, database validation, and end-to-end transaction testing.
Hands-on experience in payment testing and transaction lifecycle validation.
Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Services.
Experience with backend system integration testing.
Experience in Test Automation with Robot Framework
Experience in Data Base testing –SQL Server
Experience leveraging Generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, and automation development.
Excellent Communication and collaborative skills to drive discussion with stakeholders
Holds certifications in Agile, Azure and Scrum in Nice to Have.
A proactive learner with a flair for adopting emerging trends & addressing industry Requirements to achieve organizational objectives.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
