As a Lead Maintenance Technician here at Solstice, you will be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and providing directions to 5 other mechanics. In addition, you will also be responsible for performing maintenance and repair on a variety of industrial mechanical systems and equipment, such as forges, presses, high temperature ovens, and metal fabrication work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations through your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversight of work being done by other maintenance mechanics
- Provide instruction and guidance on best practices to complete work
- Utilize SAP (or a related MRP system) to manage jobs, order parts, and develop work plans
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of industrial systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements and resolve issues
- Perform assembly and production tasks according to established procedures and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product assembly
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and product performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of industrial operations, including hydraulic presses, forging, machining, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques and repair of industrial machinery.
- Experience with welding, fabricating, rigging, and making heavy lifts.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.

Compensation:
The annual base pay range for this position is $62,123 to $77,654. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
