Job Summary: Vikitos Cafe is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part-time Juice Bar Baristas. As a Juice Bar Barista, you will play a key role in preparing and serving a variety of delicious and nutritious smoothies, juices, and other beverages to our customers.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about health and wellness, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Schedule Note: This position specifically requires a morning person available Monday through Friday, with flexibility to participate in a weekend shift rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Welcome and assist customers in choosing beverages based on their preferences and dietary needs. Address inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a range of smoothies, juices, and specialty coffee beverages following Vikitos Cafe’s recipes and standards accurately and efficiently.
- Equipment & Inventory: Operate blending and juicing equipment safely. Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juice bar area, including equipment and storage areas.
- Sales & Safety: Actively promote additional products and specials to enhance the customer experience. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Knowledge of smoothie, juice, and/or coffee preparation is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be a reliable morning person for weekday shifts (Monday–Friday) and flexible for rotating weekend shifts.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
