Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, including supervising staff and managing customer flow.
- Ensure food preparation and service meet quality standards, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and helping with food management tasks.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing staff development to foster a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied.
- Support kitchen management by supervising food handling, food safety practices, and ensuring timely food production.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis.
