Unarmed Shift Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Prosegur Security is looking for an Security Supervisor in the Golden Valley area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing their team of security officers and shift captains to ensure the safety and security of their site(s). This involves implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures, maintaining a visible and authoritative presence, and responding promptly to any security-related incidents. They are also responsible for conducting any security assessments as required by their site, manager, or General Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:

Supervises day to day site operations

Assists security officer posts as needed

Creates and posts schedules

Identifies coverage for call-offs
-
Coaches and corrects officer performance, behavior, and attendance

Manages monthly officer training completion

Completes at least one POPS Monthly Supervisor inspection per month

Completes final interview for officer roles

Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under your direct supervision. Immediately report employee problems such as absenteeism, tardiness, unbecoming conduct, any act under “Grounds for Immediate Dismissal”, etc. to Account Manager and provide supporting documentation in the form of late/absent reports, counseling statements, incident reports, etc.

Completes equipment or facility inspections as needed or assigned

Daily completion of patrols

Manages patrol programming

Ensures desks are prepped for events/scheduled visitors

Manages incident response

Ensures all proper incident notifications have been made

Must be able to fill any role reporting to them

Ensures completion of all daily audits

Coordinates vehicle repairs
-
Manages inter-officer concerns/disputes

Train new security personnel on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and safety measures

Perform all assignments related to ongoing training and drills.

Ensure payroll is accurate and up to date and make corrections/adjustments daily
Qualifications:

18+ years of age
-
Must have a Valid Driver's License, and Clean driving record

High School Diploma or GED required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Capable of following complex instructions

Strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Knowledge of security operations and procedures
Physical Requirements:
This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:
Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
