Wage: $17.50

What does this position involve?
We are looking for a responsible groundskeeper to help maintain the safety and appearance of our campus. This position is Monday through Friday. There would be the occasional opportunity for overtime on weekdays or weekends. The bulk of this position involves mowing (you will spend a lot of your time riding on mowers), and snow removal. A valid driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the campus grass by using ride-on mowers and push mowers
- Maintain outer premises by landscaping and cleaning entrances
- Plow snow according to a designated snow removal plan
- Salt sidewalks, drive paths, and parking lots
- Upkeep and cleaning of all maintenance and school vehicles
- Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks as assigned by the department manager
