Job Summary
A growing international food manufacturing organization is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for a bilingual accounting professional who enjoys leading daily accounting operations, improving processes, and supporting financial reporting for both U.S. and Japanese stakeholders.
The Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with leadership across accounting, operations, supply chain, and executive teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll support, and close activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
- Coordinate financial reporting, analysis, and communication with Japanese headquarters or international stakeholders.
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Maintain and improve accounting controls, procedures, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Support external audits, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and accounting team development.

- Salary range: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year.
