Help to organize store - need to know products and learn the products . Need to understand PC and cashier
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell products and promote ongoing sales or promotions to increase store revenue
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Manage inventory by stocking new items and organizing stockrooms
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Assist with basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management
- Perform cashier duties accurately while maintaining a friendly phone etiquette when handling customer calls
- Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills, including effective phone etiquette and customer interaction
- Proven ability in retail sales, upselling, and merchandising techniques
- Bilingual language skills are preferred to serve a diverse customer base
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively through demos and presentations
- Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial for versatile retail environments
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
