Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 1099 Turns Rehab Contractor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Execute comprehensive rehab projects including framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing work with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively across multiple job sites
- Conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate various trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, and carpentry to ensure seamless workflow
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, stucco application, and restoration tasks as needed
- Document progress through detailed reports and communicate effectively with project managers to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management, remodeling, or rehab projects with a strong background in residential or commercial settings
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, roofing techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and other specialized trades listed above
- Ability to perform concrete finishing, masonry work, carpentry (including trim carpentry and door hanging), plastering, caulking, glazing (glass installation), cabinet installation, framing (frame carpentry), roofing (shingles or metal), and painting tasks
- Experience with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is preferred for project documentation
- Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites and ability to enforce safety protocols consistently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to travel between multiple job sites as required
