Position Summary:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing billing operations, account administration, and onboarding and revenue support activities for Striker Pharmacy. Serving as a key operational resource, this role ensures the accurate execution of pricing, account setup, transaction processing, reconciliation, and implementation of activities that support organizational growth and customer success.
Working collaboratively with Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Account Management teams, the specialist maintains data accuracy, supports revenue integrity, and helps drive operational efficiency through consistent execution of established processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in healthcare operations, billing, revenue cycle management, onboarding, or related business operations functions and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, accountability, service excellence, and process improvement.
Essential Functions:
· Manages billing workflows within the platform to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.
· Maintains pharmacy records , patient accounts, and billing documentation in accordance with company policies and operational standards.
· Reviews and validates orders, pricing, and billing information to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Monitors order management workflows and resolves billing discrepancies, missing information, and account variances.
· Coordinates with Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and Account Management teams to support successful order processing and billing outcomes.
· Maintains clinic pricing schedules and applies approved pricing structures to patient and clinic accounts.
· Supports clinic onboarding activities by establishing billing configurations, account setup requirements, and billing system workflows.
· Assists with commission reporting, billing reconciliation, and revenue validation processes.
· Utilizes Monday.com to manage billing tasks, workflow tracking, and operational priorities.
· Supports implementation of new billing technologies, operational tools, and platform enhancements while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
· High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of billing, healthcare administration, pharmacy operations, revenue cycle, or related experience.
· Experience managing operational workflows within software platforms and billing systems.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Demonstrated ability to analyze billing data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues independently.
· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
· Experience utilizing the Life File platform.
· Experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, or medical billing.
· Familiarity with clinic onboarding, account setup, and pricing management processes.
· Experience supporting commission reconciliation and reporting activities.
· Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and billing best practices.
