Overview
The Stormwater Maintenance Foreperson will be responsible for leading and performing field operations related to stormwater maintenance projects. Oversee daily site activities, crew performance, safety compliance, and ensure work is completed according to project specifications and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and perform stormwater maintenance tasks on assigned job sites
- Lead, direct, and motivate field crews to meet productivity and project deadlines
- Coordinate daily work plans with Supervisors, Project Managers, and client representatives
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and photo documentation
- Order materials and identify project needs or changes
- Conduct site walk-throughs to ensure completion and quality of work
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections
- Verify crew certifications and ensure proper documentation
- Ensure proper utility mark-outs and safe excavation practices
- Perform and document Erosion & Sediment (E&S) inspections
Equipment & Operations
- Operate and oversee use of equipment such as track trucks, skid steers, and mini excavators
- Perform or ensure completion of equipment and vehicle inspections
- Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and company vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and documents
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding and outdoor environments
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Ability to drive trucks the size of F-450s (required) while pulling a trailer (preferred)

- First Aid/CPR
- Trench Safety / Confined Space
- Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
