Job Title: Kitchen Staff
Location: Character Cafe: Buena Park, CA
Pay: $17–$20/hr (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time considered)
About Us: We are opening a one-of-a-kind kawaii-themed cafe in Buena Park, CA. We're more than just a cafe — we're an experience. We are currently hiring in preparation for our Grand Opening in early June 2026. Onboarding and training will begin in May, so we're looking for warm, energetic people who love great drinks and even better vibes to join us from the ground floor!
What You'll Do
- Prepare food items consistently and to our quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Support FOH staff during rushes by keeping product stocked and ready
- Assist with receiving and storing inventory
- Help maintain kitchen equipment
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
- Available weekdays and weekends
- Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred
- Food handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
